The National Museum of Australia (NMA) is holding its annual didj competition again, during NAIDOC Week on the 8th of July 2007. Details of the competition scanned and attached below.

Nope. But here's an idea for you Randy! A bunch of guys from Yirrkala should come down for it, and have a concurrent exhibition of yidaki at the same time. It would be awesome! I'd come just for that Smile

Further to that Guan or Randy, do any of the Yirrkala boys ever make their way to the Pine Creek Didjeridu Contest?

I don't know of any Yolngu who attend the Pine Creek event... it is a low key thing that countrymen don't really know about.

Great idea Guan, the Guys from Yirrkala would "blow away" the ' Boys on their drone toys' you cracked me up when I read that post awhile back. Laughing
And win the best original art work...This has me shaking my head this contest. Confused
