Jehiiiiiiiiiiiii.......... Yes my friend,
The wonder stick has arrived in good order, save and sound, and pretty darn fast to. O boy is this stick beautifully grafted. A lot of attention and passion went in to this Yidaki. You can tell by the way Gapanbulu took care off the knot's. An other very remarkable thing is the density of the wood. Considering it's size and shape it feels pretty heavy. Well this is a rock solid stick. Indeed these are rare! An other extra ordinary thing is that you can play it in the key E and F. But when I play it tends to got to F. Maybe I play with to much pressure.........?
As you described Guan, Gapanbulu's creation is super-sensitive and responsive. For the fist time the push (did) comes out nice and clear and that's such a joy.
I'm far, far a way from a Yidaki rock star but I do like to share my joy and gratitude in the form of a sound file.
Woooo nice stick Peter .Well he certainly find a good home .Happy life with your new soulmate .Good choice ! Now where is the picture we want to see it !
