Got this email today for anyone who might be interested, looks like a standard template letter:

Dear Guan,

Please find attached a recent media release announcing the Garma 2008 Key Forum theme, Indigenous Knowledge: caring for culture and country.

I apologise if you have already received it by other means, but I wanted to make sure you were aware of the Forum theme, and of my keen interest in having you come to Garma this year. The information is provided in Word and PDF formats for your convenience.

Please forward this email and the material to anyone you feel may be interested in attending the Key Forum or Garma 2008 generally. As the media release says, further information can be obtained on www.garma.telstra.com

Thanks for your support, and I look forward to welcoming you, and your friends and colleagues, to Gulkula in Northeast Arnhem Land for the 10th Garma Festival of Traditional Culture 2008, 8-12 August 2008.

Yours truly,

Mandawuy Yunupingu

Attached documents are appended here for your info.

Those who are coming to the Masterclass, you might want to tie in parts of Garma too in your journey of discovery in the 'Top End'. There are lots of things happening around this time, around July and August, and I hope to put together a list of such events as they come to my attention. One that comes immediately to mind is the Telstra Art Award and another is the Darwin Festival. Both well worth staying around for.

Guan
