This has been around for a couple of years, not sure if anyone else has seen it. Has a good chapter by Peter Toner called "Home Among the Gum Trees" based on field work at Gapuwiyak (Lake Evella). A chapter also on the Murlarra song series by Greg Anderson, Yolngu dance and music in a Christian context at Ramingining by Ingrid Slotte, and the Yirrkala Film Project by Fiona Magowan. Interesting stuff...

I'm not familiar with this text. I'll try and suss out a copy.

I know Karl Neuenfeldt has been criticized- some think unduly- for some of the work on new-age appropriation of didjeridu in 'Didjeridu: From Arnhemland to Internet'

I am reading 'Didjeridu: From Arnhemland to Internet' again , read it awhile back, and I am not sure how I feel about some of the text, I will leave that to the experts [which is not me that's for sure]. But over all not a bad read and don't you just love the photos in the middle of the book

I will see if I can get the above book as I have not seen that one, my wife works in the local library which helps.
