I did listen to a short segment of this the other day on my computer as I was looking for old stuff buried in 1 of several hard drives. I'll try to find it again and upload it here. It isn't pure mago playing by the way by with an orchestra, the mago part is fantastic!

Say, do people here use iPods and other MP3 players? I've never owned one but have bought a couple for Yolngu friends who are music crazy. It could be a cool thing to have everything on an iPod like all commercial CDs that have been released with trad material on them, plus my own stuff collected in the field including audio cassette tapes, VHS-C video tapes, Minidisc, and mini-DV tapes. My oldest field-collected material is now 16 years old and it is about time I digitize them, it would be a shame if some of these recordings are lost because of deterioration of tape.

I don't know much about iPod technology and capabilities but isn't there a way to share playlists through the web?

Hello,

It is easy to find this recording, and it is not expensive at all, through itunes and amazon (http://www.amazon.co.uk). The title of this CD is:

"Dreyfus: Chamber & Orchestral Music (Symphony No. 1/Symphony No. 2/Sextet for Didjeridu & Wind Instruments) (Classic Oz Collection). Adelaide Wind Quintet (Artist), George Winunguj (Artist), Ladislov Slovak (Artist), Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (Artist), David Measham (Artist)"

Btw, I have an ipod and it works very well. I recommend it.

Ángel.
