Four days to go! If you don't know what it is about, take a look here:

http://www.earthhour.org/

There's a whole bunch of cities participating: Aalborg, Aarhus, Adelaide, Atlanta, Bangkok, Brisbane, Canberra, Chicago, Christchurch, Copenhagen, Dublin, Manila, Melbourne, Montreal, Odense, Ottawa, Perth, Phoenix, San Francisco, Suva and Lautoka, Sydney, Tel Aviv, Toronto, and Vancouver. If your city is not there, why not get in touch with your local government and ask them why they aren't involved?!

This has been going long enough to make it more than an hour now I think. We should do this every night for hours !

For sure Bita, not just night but daytime too!

Did anyone do anything interesting during Earth Hour?

I spent the hour with Jeremy Cloake and Sasha who used to work with Yolngu printmakers, we had a lovely dinner by candlelight at a Thai place after a couple of ales earlier. Excellent food too especially since the only thing I'd eaten all day was a bowl of muesli with soy milk for breakfast! I had a line-caught baby snapper, hmmmm. Mind you, you could have stumbled on something walking back from the washroom, or in my case, mistakenly walked into the kitchen, it was pretty dark in there.
