For those who don't know, Mahir defended his PhD thesis successfully yesterday. He's been toiling away for many years in the Medical Image and Signal Processing
unit at the Department of Electronics and Information Systems at Ghent University.
So let's give it up for Mahir, or should be say Doc!
Hip hip hurray!

Thanks dudes, I am spoiled now:)
I owe a big thank you to Guan as he helped me many times to snap out of the bad mood I was in and motivated me to keep up. He is a great friend!

Hi everybody,
Last week I at last got my PhD diploma after making a presentation to family members and friends. When I was done, my professor said that he had some slides to show and attached is one of his slides shown in his talk. I do not remember sharing the didge freakness in me with him nevertheless and to my suprise he brought this up, also referring to IDIDJ. Was a very nice surprise wanted to share with you guys...
cheers

Hi Guan,
I think he somehow discovered my highly amateur web site and he himself did his post-doc in Oz for 2 years so he is pretty aware of many things...
anyhow was a nice surprise
