Good Afternoon Guan,

Hope you are well and smiling! I have included information on the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment course we have which is funded for Koories. If you can forward this onto your staff, clients and/or community members, I would greatly appreciate it.

Ascet TAFE is currently offering Certificate IV in Training and Assessment through Victorian Government funding for Koories.

The course is designed for motivated, determined, go-getters who want to learn how to train others in their area of expertise.

Students will learn how to:
Ÿ Foster and Promote an Inclusive Learning Culture
Ÿ Use Training Packages to Meet Client Needs
Ÿ Design and Develop Learning Packages
Ÿ Ensure a Healthy and Safe Learning Environment
Ÿ Facilitate Individual, Group and Work-based Learning

The cost of this course is $55 for Koories. There are only 6 Government funded places for the 2009 year.

This course commences at our Kew Campus on 22nd July and runs for 9 weeks with 8 contact sessions. The course schedule is as follows:
Ÿ 22nd July 1pm – 4pm, City Campus
Ÿ 5th August 10am – 4pm, Kew Campus
Ÿ 12th August 10am – 4pm, Kew Campus
Ÿ 19th August 10am – 4pm, Kew Campus
Ÿ 26th August 10am – 4pm, Kew Campus
Ÿ 2nd September 10am – 4pm, Kew Campus
Ÿ 9th September 10am – 4pm, Kew Campus
Ÿ 16th September ½ hour by appointment, City Campus

Please let me know if you have any questions and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I have included the Enrolment Form and Application Process, both which need to be completed and returned with Photo ID and proof of Australian citizenship/permanent residency to secure your funded place.

Kind Regards,
Kate
