Following winiwini's take on free form jazz improv. i used the built in mic on my laptop, so the quality is not so great. Hope you like it.

Sounds alright to me! Nice!

"Hope you like it" reminds me of Manuel Dhurrkay from Saltwater Band... every time I've seen him perform live, he would preface a song by "hope you like it"! Quite funny ha ha!

Tre, Tre COOL Eliot,

Very rich Full nice sound my friend. The "Dup" and "Dhirrl's" seem to go very smooth. Good on you. Keep the Jazz going and enjoy us with more groovy stuff.

Ciao,

Peter

VERY COOL Eliot. It has the groove. Very good timing.

Looks like you also mastered the placing and shortness of the breaths. I'm stuck at this at the moment Confused But I'm still young.

As per the ideas about placement and shortness of breath, I think best advice I could give has already been given by both Kyle and Randy. Kyle stated in an earlier thread that he breathes both in and out of his nose, and not necessarily at the same point in the rhythm. This is exactly what should happen. Think of your lower lungs as reservoirs of air that should never get too empty or full.
Randy's advice was to listen to the hard tongue cd and really practice it. I used that cd everyday for 4-5 hours per day for like 3 months (I know, I know...obsessive).
The only thing that I can stress is to LISTEN. Listen to the djalu cds, listen to alice moyle recordings, but do it critically and continually. I used to have 100s of mp3s on my ipod and would listen to them all day, in between classes, and at night when I was sleeping. I just let it seep into my system. I also broke down all of the phonemes that are used by players into IPA format, then placed those phonemic symbols in a sort of rhythmic musical notation so as to break rhythms down by sound articulation. That was also quite helpful. I'll look through my notes and see if I can get them scanned and put up on line.

Eliot
