No worries Julian, I know it is only a book, I just have to be consistent that's all otherwise others will start humbugging me that I'm letting some advertisements go through and not others.

You can write your own review if you like, what you thought of the book, what the contents are about, the significance of the bark panels etc. I've got the title myself, 'tis quite an interesting read. I wish I could write more book reviews, I've got shelves and shelves of tomes, some things I haven't read yet, just gotta find the time

I saw on the news today that there's much snow in Europe, schools are shut, roads are blocked, etc. Brrrrr... You guys might be jealous to know that it is beautiful and sunny here, I was walking around in shorts and singlet today. And tomorrow is going to be a scorcher at 36 degrees Celsius. Beach time!!

Jealous, who us Brits!!!!? never.. we love falling over on the ice, spraining our ankles, breaking our necks!!! we like nothing better than crashing our car into someone elses on the ice or knackering out our heating at home as it struggles to keep the place warm. What about hoarding food, the favouritre pastime of those who think an inch of snow as an excuse to hoarde enough food for a six month siege. 3 million didn't go to work today!!! but I bet if they had to go to a football match they would find a way not to miss the game!!! the snow, its brings out the best in people tho, all of a sudden everyone is kind and courteous, why can't we be like that all the time? Global warming We love it!!!

Hi Paul,

What does it look like outside your window? Could you take a pic and upload here? I'm curious to see how cold it is. Also, how do they clean the snow off roads in Europe during winter? Do they have like street sweepers brushing the snow off the road? I wonder what is worse, driving on an Arnhem Land dirt road that hasn't been graded for ages, or driving on a snow-covered road in Europe's winter...

Being a Canadian living in the UK, you might not find it surprising to see that I built an igloo when we received a good amount of snow!
